This research, using a descriptive-analytical method and drawing upon the works of Sanai, Attar, Rumi, and Hafez, addresses how literary devices transformed from tools for aesthetic embellishment into a language for expressing profound spiritual experiences. This metamorphosis was not a stylistic choice, but a necessity born from the “crisis of language” and its inadequacy in describing mystical truth. The findings show that, faced with the inability of everyday language to describe the infinite, the mystic is forced to break its structures and reinvent the function of literary devices. In this process, metaphor is used to grant existence to abstract concepts, paradox to express a trans-rational logic and the unity of opposites, and hyperbole to allude to the boundless. Similarly, paronomasia and repetition reflect “unity in multiplicity”, personification expresses the “unity of being” (wahdat al-wujud), poetic etiology justifies the love-centric “best of all possible worlds”, and synesthesia becomes a tool for lifting the veil between the senses. The study concludes that in mystical poetry, rhetoric is transformed from “ornament” to “epistemology” and from formalism to meaning-creation, as literary devices become instruments for constructing and conveying the poet’s inner world. در تاریخ ادبیات فارسی، شعر عرفانی نقطۀ عطفی است که در آن، کارکرد آرایه‌های ادبی تغییر ماهیت می‌دهد. این پژوهش با روش توصیفی‌-تحلیلی و با تکیه بر آثار سنایی، عطار، مولانا و حافظ، به این پرسش پاسخ می‌دهد که چگونه آرایه‌های ادبی از ابزار تزیین کلام، به زبان بیان تجربیات عمیق معنوی بدل شد. این دگردیسی، نه یک انتخاب سبکی که ضرورتی بود که از عجز و ناتوانی زبان متعارف در توصیف حقیقت عرفانی سرچشمه می‌گرفت. یافته‌ها نشان می‌دهد شاعرِ عارف در مواجهه با ناتوانی زبان روزمره برای توصیف امر بی‌نهایت، ناگزیر به شکستن ساختارهای آن و بازآفرینی کارکرد آرایه‌ها می‌شود. در این فرایند، استعاره برای هستی‌بخشی به مفاهیم انتزاعی، تناقض برای بیان منطق فراعقلی و وحدت اضداد، و اغراق برای اشاره به امر بیکران به کار می‌رود. همچنین، جناس و تکرارْ بازتاب‌دهندۀ‌ «وحدت در کثرت»، تشخیصْ بیان‌کنندۀ «وحدت وجود»، حسن تعلیلْ توجیه‌گر «نظام احسن» عشق‌محور و حس‌آمیزی ابزاری برای رفع حجاب از میان حواس می‌شوند. نتیجه آنکه در شعر عرفانی، بلاغت از «زینت» به «معرفت» و از صورت‌گرایی به معناآفرینی تغییر ماهیت می‌دهد و آرایه‌ها به ابزاری برای ساخت و انتقال جهان باطنی شاعر تبدیل می‌شوند. https://liar.ui.ac.ir/article_30260_6993f86bbd96e6748a379450ba0c7db2.pdf
