When such relationships emerge across different linguistic and cultural contexts, they become a significant subject of inquiry within the field of comparative literature. In this regard, the present study examines the works of the Russian writer Faddei Bulgarin, whose narratives often revolve around themes such as justice, merit, law, conscience, compassion, and ethical governance within social relations. The emergence of these themes can be understood as a natural consequence of the influence of Eastern narrative traditions, particularly the literary legacy of Saadi, during a period of perceived spiritual and moral vacuum in Russian literature.<br /> ‌<br /> This influence is evident not only in thematic content but also in the application of specific literary forms and narrative structures. Adopting a comparative approach and a descriptive-analytical method, this study explores the dimensions of these intertextual relationships between Saadi and Bulgarin. The findings demonstrate that there exists a close connection between the two authors at both the thematic and formal levels. Didactic motifs, utopian perspectives, reflections on justice and ethics, as well as formal narrative elements such as characterization, the use of allegorical forms, and structured narrative settings in Bulgarin’s works can be interpreted as adaptations and inspirations derived from Saadi’s literary tradition نقد نوین ادبی، بر این اصل تأکید دارد که ارتباط میان آثار و فهم مناسبات بینامتنی، اصلی ناگزیر در فهم معنا و رسیدن به ارزش پنهان آثار ادبی‌ست. این اصل زمانی که به حوزۀ اقوام و ملت‌ها در ساختار زبانی متفاوت ورود پیدا می‌کند، در سیاق ادبیات تطبیقی قابلیت طرح و بررسی دارد. از سویی، مشاهده می‌شود که در این پژوهش، فادئی بولگارین، نویسندۀ روسی، آثاری با محوریت موضوعی عدالت، شایستگی، قانون، وجدان، رحمت و عدالت در بستر حکمرانی و روابط اجتماعی خلق کرده که پیدایش چنین آثاری را می‌توان نتیجۀ طبیعی تأثیرپذیری از سنت داستان‌نویسی شرقی به‌ویژه سعدی‌مآبی او در زمان خلاء معنوی در ادبیات روسیه دانست. این تأثیرپذیری نه تنها در این حوزۀ محتوایی که در کاربست نوعی و فرمی بسیار مورد توجه قرار خواهد گرفت. حال این پژوهش سعی دارد با رویکردی تطبیقی و روش توصیفی تحلیلی به بررسی ابعاد این روابط در سعدی و بولگارین بپردازد. از نتایج این پژوهش این فرض‌ها اثبات خواهد شد که میان سعدی و بولگارین با توجه به روابط میان متنی در دو سطح محتوایی و فرمی، ارتباط بسیار نزدیک وجود داشته و می-توان مضامین نوعی تعلیمی، نگرش به مقولات آرمان‌شهری، عدالت، اخلاق و .. همچنین مقولات فرمی در عناصر داستان، شخصیت پردازی، اتخاذ نوع تمثیلی و مکانمندی در آثار بولگارین را مقتبس و الهام گرفته از سعدی دانست.
