This research examines and analyzes the types of romantic concepts in Afghan press poetry, with an emphasis on poems published in the magazine "Jhondoon", one of the most important literary and cultural publications in Afghanistan in the second half of the twentieth century.This magazine, which was active during a period of political and social changes in Afghanistan, has been a platform for publishing poems with diverse approaches and themes, and analyzing the romantic content of these poems forms the main goal of this research.For this reason, in this article, using a descriptive-analytical method and relying on library resources, romantic concepts in this publication have been examined and analyzed.The findings of this study show that the poems published in "Zhwondon", in a tense historical context, reflected deep human emotions such as love, sacrifice, excitement, mysticism, and descriptions of patriotic emotions.Also, these poems, with regard to themes such as naturalism, nostalgia, martyrdom, freedom, and condemnation of oppression, reflect the revolutionary and romantic spirit. Prominent poets, emphasizing these concepts, have played an effective role in illustrating and thematizing the current of Afghan romantic poetry in the magazine "Jhondoon".
